We've been working on teaching our kids table manners. This week we have been concentrating on asking to be excused when finished with dinner. Today we were almost done with sacrament meeting when McKay, who had been sitting amazingly well on her chair, turned to me and asked, "May I please be excused?"

by the way, i was just commenting to jesse that you always have these great little shots of mckay on your blog, but the boys are noticeably absent. i'm going to assume they're usually covered in some kind of bodily fluid or moving at mach-3 speed.
She's such a doll. Don't you just love this age?
