The girl who was cutting my hair asked, "So what made you decide to go short?" I replied, "I looked in the mirror, decided I looked hideous, and figured I couldn't look worse." She didn't crack a smile, rather she pursed her lips together in concentration. And then I knew. She was taking my words as a personal challenge. If there was a way to make me look worse she would do it, so help her.
And she did. I HATE this haircut so much. It will grow. It will grow...

It's a nice haircut! It's hard to tell by your facial expression what you're feeling...cooler, I'll bet.
You are a beautiful woman, no matter the length of your hair. Your eyes look amazing in this photo.
However, I do understand that for a woman, the haircut makes a BIG difference in how you feel overall about your appearance. Your hair will grow fast, but not as fast as you want it to!
Hope to see you guys soon!
I died laughing. No...your hair will not grow back as fast as you want it to. I was thinking about cutting my hair. I'm reconsidering. :)
I don't think it is as bad as you think. I think it just needs a little more layer or maybe a little thinning on the upper layer. It took me quite a while to figure out exactly what I like in a short haircut and now I don't think I will ever go long again. So frustrating to pay for a bad haircut though.
You're gorgeous no matter what. But you could just bobby pin it all back and everyone will still think it's long. ;) Or... my personal approach is to not do a SINGLE thing with my hair - or wear an ounce of make-up all week, that way when you actually get ready for church on Sunday everyone will think you look great! (although it may take a while for them to recognize you)
I can relate! About 3 years ago I was expecting my 2nd child & decided to chop A LOT of hair off. I took in a picture but deffinatley didn't leave with what I'd expected. I guess I should've realized that it was going downhill when she took the shaver to the back of it... Good luck with the growing process!
Oh, I've so been there. Sometime ask me to tell you the story of me getting my hair cut from a drunk barber when I was first married. I think everyone needs a bad haircut once in a while, right? To make us realize how great our previous haircut really was...
I still think you are stunning!
Kodie you are a beautiful woman regardless - take after your dad of course.
Kodie--I have to chuckle...mostly because of your angry facial expressions!
